Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the reachpony.com website, the JSON API at /v1/ and the MCP server at /mcp (together, the "service"), run by reachpony ("we", "us"). By using the service, directly or through an AI agent or app, you agree to them. If you connect the service to an agent or app that others use, you are responsible for that use complying with these terms.

What the service is

reachpony is a free directory of local home-service businesses in the United States. It shows information about each business taken from the business's own website and public sources, and lets you search it by job, trade, requirement and location. No account is needed.

reachpony is an information service only. We don't provide home services, book appointments, take payments, send messages to businesses or act as an agent for you or for any business. Any arrangement you make with a business is between you and that business.

About the information shown

• Profiles summarize what each business publishes about itself: services, service area, availability, licenses, prices, brands and contact options. We don't independently verify it. Licenses shown are what the business claims; check them with the licensing authority. Prices are as published by the business, not quotes.
• Ratings and review counts come from Google and are shown as reported there.
• Information can be out of date. Each profile shows when it was last refreshed. Confirm details with the business before you hire it.
• A listing is not an endorsement or recommendation. Organic results are ranked by relevance to your search, not by payment.
• Some placements are paid. They are always labeled "Sponsored" on the site and marked "sponsored": true in the API and MCP responses, and are kept separate from organic results.

Acceptable use

You may use the service, including the API and MCP server, for personal and commercial purposes, including inside AI agents and apps. You agree not to:

• get around rate limits or other access controls, for example by rotating IP addresses;
• copy the directory in bulk, or use it to build or feed a competing directory or dataset;
• interfere with or disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission (report them to [email protected] instead), or send malicious input;
• use business contact details for spam, unsolicited marketing or harassment;
• misrepresent the information, its source, or your relationship with reachpony or any business;
• use the service in breach of any law.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.

Businesses

If you represent a listed business, you can ask us to correct or remove its profile by emailing [email protected] from an address at the business's domain. Names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only to identify the business.

Our rights

The service, its software, design, taxonomy and the compilation of the directory belong to reachpony. Facts about businesses are not ours, and you're free to use individual results you receive, including showing them to your users, with or without credit to reachpony.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect when you use the service. In short: no accounts, no cookies, and search logs without identifiers, deleted after 90 days.

Changes and availability

The service is free and provided as available. We may change, add or remove features, coverage, rate limits or the API, or stop the service, at any time. We'll try to give notice on the docs page before breaking changes to the API or MCP tools. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service means you accept it.

THE SERVICE AND ALL INFORMATION IN IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THE QUALITY, LICENSING, INSURANCE, PRICING OR CONDUCT OF ANY BUSINESS LISTED.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, REACHPONY IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM WORK DONE (OR NOT DONE) BY A BUSINESS YOU FOUND THROUGH THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO US$100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
